Each year John Chapman has an Annual Round Up and Cowboy Cookout at one of the Chapman Family Ranches near Fort Worth, Texas.

The cattle are worked the “old fashion way” roping them, dragging them to the handlers, where the calves are thrown, branded, castrated, ear tagged and vaccinated. The cowboys can work a calf in about two minutes or less.

Barney Chapman is in charge of the food where he, along with many friends including the Browns, Ushers and some others, does the cooking in Dutch ovens and large plow disks made into cooking utensils
